New Cantech Appoints Derek Huston to Support Investor Relations

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (FRANKFURT: C7X) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Derek Huston of D.A. Huston Consulting to support the Company's investor relation activities.

Mr. Huston will initiate and maintain contact with the financial community, shareholders and investors. In addition, he will assist New Cantech's management in strategizing, formulating and implementing its communications programs. Mr. Huston has extensive experience in investor relations and corporate communications services and has represented several successful publicly trading companies in the last twenty years.

As part of this three month Engagement Agreement, extendible by mutual agreement, Mr. Huston is to be paid a fee of $6,000 per month. He will also be vested in 125,000 New Cantech options exercisable at 25 cents at the end of the three months, and a similar vesting at the end of any three month extension thereafter, for a total grant of a maximum of 500,000 options that can be vested at the end of twelve months. The agreement announced today is made subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
