Merivale Moore plc (the "Company")
Offer Update
It was announced on 14 February 2003 that Grenville Dean, the Chairman of the
Company, was considering an offer for the balance of the shares in the Company
not already held by him and his family. The Company notes the recent movement in
its share price and announces that detailed discussions concerning such an offer
are continuing. Any offer, if made, would be at no more than 176 pence per share
and would comprise cash and a dividend.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
