Monster Uranium Appoints Douglas Underhill, PhD, CPG as Director

Monster Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MU) is pleased to announce the addition of
Douglas Underhill, PhD, CPG to its Board of Directors.


Dr. Underhill has 35 years' international experience with natural resource
development and analysis. He obtained his PhD. from McMaster University in 1972
and also holds a M.B.A. in Finance and Strategic Planning. He has broad-based
experience in all phases of commercial uranium programs, as well as being a
uranium specialist at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna. He is a
uranium expert widely recognized in the international arena. His specialties
include world uranium geology and resources, and project evaluation - including
both conventional and in situ leach, through supply-demand analysis. He prepared
the IAEA contribution to the biennial joint OECD/NEA-IAEA world report "Uranium
Resources, Production and Demand" (the "Red Book") from 1993-2000.


In this capacity, Dr. Underhill will assist the Company in evaluating new
opportunities and potential acquisitions along with applying his years of
experience and industry contacts to the development of the Company. The current
Monster Uranium management is extremely pleased with the addition of Dr.
Underhill and welcomes him to the Company.


The Company has, subject to regulatory approval, granted 1,000,000 options to
directors, officers and consultants. The options will be exercisable at $0.25
for a period of 2 years.
