MetalCORP Announces the Hiring of New Manager of Exploration

MetalCorp Limited ("MetalCorp" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:MTC) is pleased to
announce that Richard James (Jim) Garber, P.Geo., has joined the Company as
Manager of Exploration.


Jim is a senior geologist, with nearly 40 years of experience in exploration
geology, much of it in Ontario. He previously worked with Noranda and Battle
Mountain Gold as part of their Timmins exploration groups, and most recently
worked for the better part of ten years as the Exploration Manager for Landore
Resources Ltd.
