Sale of Facilities Management Division Will Give Meridex Tighter Focus on Its 3Csafe IP Security Software Business

Meridex Software Corporation (TSX VENTURE:MSC), a leading provider of IP
security and facilities management software solutions, today announced that it
has signed a letter of intent for the sale of its Facilities Management Software
division to Robert Stephen Consulting, LLC (RSC).


"This sale of our FM division not only provides us with more cash but also
allows our team to focus more tightly on developing and selling our new IP
security software helping us to build a scalable, high margin software business
and generate greater shareholder value", said Mr. Darren Nicholls, President and

The proposed transaction is subject to TSX approval.
