Micrex Development Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MIX) announces an update on the St. Charles Quebec Magnetite / Titanium / Apatite / Rare Earth / Vanadium deposit. Micrex is pleased to announce the completion of the NI 43-101 report on its St. Charles, Quebec deposit which is now available on Sedar. The report states that even though 72 holes were drilled, and all showed uninterrupted magnetite throughout their length, that their spacing does not meet current requirements for calculating reserves. However, reserves should be readily proven up with an additional small drilling program. A high definition magnetometer survey is currently being conducted, with a report expected in the next two weeks. Micrex's geologist, Rejean Girard, and Roch Cormier, vice-president of Micrex, met with Corem (Consortium de recherche appliquee en traitement et transformation des substances minerales) in Quebec City last week to establish guidelines for laboratory testing of material from St. Charles. A small 500 kg sample will be initially tested, which will be followed with a full 100 ton test run, in order to determine the grinding characteristics and power requirements to process the magnetite. Also, a large sample is being shipped to Newcastle, England to aid in the final design of the grinding equipment for the plant. Update on Deadwood Mine in New Mexico This is a former gold and silver mine consisting of two patented claims, each 1,500 feet long. An updated technical report is expected in the next week and will be reported on at that time.
