Declan Resources is Pleased to Provide an Update on the Work Program at Firebag River

Declan Resources Inc. ("Declan" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:LAN) is pleased
to provide an update on its work program at Firebag River. 


Analysis of historical drill core and cuttings, at the ERCB lab, Calgary in
February 2014, revealed the continuity of high grade frac sand at, or near,
surface in regions throughout the property. To date, 1500m of core along with
2000m of core cutting have been analyzed with additional holes still available
for review. Data from the first visit revealed high silica content in and around
the perceived deposit and further delineated Declan's target of interest. 


With this analysis, Declan will now turn to the final stage of Frac Sand testing
of the samples that were submitted to Lorring Laboratories ltd of Calgary, Alta
by Dahrouge geological in December 2013. Samples will go through a crush test,
after which, all results will be released to the public. 


Wayne Tisdale states, "We're encouraged by the progress we're making on the
project at Firebag River. Approval of Athabasca Minerals surface mineral
license, Northwest of Firebag River, is a positive step for the Frac Sand
industry in Alberta. With the development of shale gas in Alberta/ B.C the
demand for localized sand, at lower transportation costs will continue to
accelerate." 


Situated along the Saskatchewan/Alberta border, approximately 100 kilometers
Northeast of Fort McMurray, the Firebag River property is ideally situated for
partnerships. An important advantage of the location is the significantly
reduced transportation cost. With the current growth in shale gas exploration
frac sand has become a valuable commodity. 


Mr. Garry Clark, a director of Declan, is the "Qualified Person" as defined in
National Instrument 43-101, who has reviewed and approved the technical content
in this news release.
