Karel Capital Corporation Files Financial Statements and Board Update

Karel Capital Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KRL.P), a capital pool
company, announces that it has filed its audited financial statements for the
period ended September 30, 2008 together with the corresponding management's
discussion and analysis ("MD&A"), and its unaudited interim financial statements
for the 3 month period ended December 31, 2008 together with the corresponding
MD&A, with the Canadian regulatory authorities on SEDAR. This information may be
accessed electronically at www.sedar.com.


Additionally, the Company regrets to announce that Mr. Leigh Stewart has
resigned from the Board of Directors in order to comply with the policies of the
TSX Venture Exchange that provide an individual may only be a director of a
maximum of two capital pool companies at any one time. Mr. Stewart will continue
as Corporate Secretary of the Company.
