Yankee Hat Announces Fall Drill Program on the Fran Property

Yankee Hat Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:KHT) ("Yankee Hat" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce the details of a fall drill program at its Fran Property in
central British Columbia (the "Fran Property"). The drill program will be
approximately 5,000 meters and is scheduled to begin in mid-November. 


The Company has recently completed its first 3D Gemcom model of the Fran
Property. This model is based on the assay results from 71 historic drill holes
and surface exploration. Noteworthy historic intersections include holes
FR-07-074 at 12.9 meters of 7.39 grams per ton of gold, and FR-06-055 at 9.55
meters of 8.21 grams per ton of gold. The model outlines four (4) distinct zones
of gold mineralization and specific areas that would lead itself to further
exploration. In this regard, drilling targets have been identified and will
consist of a combination of infill holes and deeper exploration holes on strike

and brings a new geological team to the site," stated David Matousek, President

and assist in understanding the geological structure of the gold
mineralization." 


Mr. Terence Schorn, P.Geo. is a Qualified Person registered in British Columbia
as defined by NI-43-101 and has reviewed the technical information this press

The Fran Property is advantageously positioned in Central BC, just 30km away
from the Mt. Milligan Cu-Au deposit. All weather road access to the Fran project
means cost effective drilling, and significant infrastructure in the area
increases the availability of trades and equipment.
