NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWSWIRE OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES -- Higher grade phosphate mineralization from prospecting identified 5,500 m southeast of historical mineralized zone on new claims announced November 22, 2011 -- Highest phosphate assays from current sampling are 7.90% and 6.19% P2O5 from the new claim blocks announced on November 22, 2011 JOURDAN RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:JOR) ("JOURDAN" or the "Company") (www.jourdan.ca) is pleased to announce that it has received the second batch of assay results from prospecting and mapping on its Dissimieux Lake Phosphate Project including results as high a 7.90 and 6.19% P2O5. More than 70 assay results are still pending at ASL Minerals, of Vancouver, BC, and will be released as they are received by the Company. Samples results received to date cover approximately 14 km of strike length. Assay results from areas within the new claims exceed expectation based on historical work on the claims. The area east of historical mineralization on the original claim block provides additional areas to target by drilling for near surface phosphate mineralization, with the potential to have multiple parallel zones of phosphate mineralization, as well as the potential for higher grade phosphate mineralization as demonstrated in the results from this release. The highest assay reports 7.90% P2O5 from sample J413055, taken approximately 5.5 km southeast of the area of historical mineralization. This new zone of phosphate mineralization likely continues approximately 3km southwest in samples J413017, J413018 and J413019. Sample J413042 reports 6.19% P2O5 from what appears to be another parallel mineralized structure approximately 3 km east of the historical mineralization and likely includes the zone encountered in samples J413043 through J413047 which are approximately 2 km southwest of sample J413042. "These new high grade phosphate results indicate what appear to be long parallel zones to the historical mineralization. These results, along with the success of extending the historical mineralization, are encouraging and, I believe, demonstrate that the Dissimieux Lake Phosphate Property has real potential to become a major phosphate asset along the North Shore, and potentially larger than other well known deposits in the region, including the Arnaud Mine at Sept Isles located approximately 200 km east of the Dissimieux Lake Phosphate Property, and Paul Lake located approximately 70 km due west of the Dissimieux Lake Phosphate Property", states Jourdan President and CEO Michael Dehn. Geo. Samples were bagged, sealed and numbered on-site, and delivered to the ALS Laboratory Group facility in Val-d'Or (Quebec) for analysis using the ME-ICP06 Method. At the laboratory facility, samples were inventoried, weighed and dried; crushed 70% to under 2 millimetres; riffled split with a 250 gram sub-sample pulverized 85% to under 75 microns; then followed by analysis. The technical information in this news release was approved by Mr. Jean Lafleur, M. Sc. P. Geo, a Consultant to Jourdan Resources, who is a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 regulations.
