COSTA MESA, Calif., Nov. 14  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Valeant Pharmaceuticals
International  announced that it will begin trading today on the New York Stock
Exchange under ticker symbol VRX. The company previously traded under the symbol
ICN.

The new ticker symbol is a result of the company's recent name change to Valeant
Pharmaceuticals International on November 12, 2003. The company was formerly
known as ICN Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
