Huntington Exploration Inc. Announces Refiling of Interim Financial Statements

David Dion, Chief Financial Officer of Huntington Exploration Inc. ("HEI" or the
"Company") (TSX VENTURE:HEI) announced today that HEI has filed amended and
restated condensed interim financial statements for the interim period ended
June 30, 2011. HEI amended the condensed interim financial statements to include
a material change in the pre-changeover Canadian GAAP to IFRS transitional
adjustments for the comparative periods ending June 30, 2010. In the amended
interim financial statements, the effect of transition to IFRS included in Note
12 for the statement of financial position as at June 30, 2010 and the statement
of comprehensive income for the three and six months ended June 30, 2010 have
been revised. Related explanations for the transitional adjustments have also
been revised. These amended statements contain no material changes relating to
the statement of financial position or the statement of comprehensive income for
the current periods ending June 30, 2011.
