Grayd Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GYD) is pleased to report that recent exploration work on the La India Project indicates that the main zone of gold mineralization at Viruela-La Cruz potentially extends an additional 1.3 km down-dip from the area encompassed by the January 2008 resource (36.8 million tonnes grading 0.8 g/t Au or 938,000 oz using a 0.4 g/t Au cut-off). Interpretation of drill results and surface mapping show that stratigraphy and alteration associated with the Viruela-La Cruz zone extends beneath cover rocks westward to the Nopal zone, a previously identified zone of silicification and breccias characteristic of upper levels in a high-sulphidation epithermal system. This equates to a doubling in size of the area underlain by the target alteration horizon that hosts the gold mineralization. Gold results released July 16, 2008 from drill hole RC-08-343 (33.5 m grading 1.20 g/t Au), drilled 180 m west of the last hole included in the January 2008 resource, and RC-08-342 (16.8 m grading 1.18 g/t Au), will allow part of the new area closest to the existing resource to be included in a new resource model which is currently underway. Extensions of gold mineralization west of these holes will be the target of drilling once surface exploration work is complete. A cross section showing the expansion is attached (to view please click on: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/gyd1105.pdf) and also posted on the Grayd website at www.grayd.com. Exploration work on the La India project is advancing. Reverse circulation and diamond drilling within the areas of the January 2008 resource, and in potential extensions adjacent to these areas, has been completed and all assays have been returned. An updated geological model incorporating all new data has been constructed. A new resource calculation is currently underway and will be completed this month. Detailed geological mapping and sampling is being conducted on the potential extensions to the known zones, and on other targets on the 250 sq km property. Hans Smit, P.Geo., VP Exploration for Grayd, is the Qualified Person directing the exploration at La India. Grayd Resource is a growth-oriented junior natural resource company focused primarily on exploring and developing a large land position in Mexico which is highly prospective for gold and silver mineralization. The Company's Officers and Directors are very experienced in all aspects of mineral exploration, development and production and have been involved with several successful mining projects over the past 20 years.
