Geomark Exploration Ltd. Announces Granting of Stock Options

Geomark Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GME) (the "Corporation") announces that,
in accordance with the Corporation's stock option plan which was approved by the
shareholders on July 6, 2010, the Corporation has granted stock options to its
new senior officer, Mr. Robb D. Thompson, to purchase an aggregate of 180,000
common shares, at an exercise price of $1.57 per common share. These stock
options expire June 1, 2014, and vest over a three year period, one-third on
each of the first, second, and third anniversaries. 


The total number of options outstanding as of the date hereof is 3,459,000.
