Gespeg Copper Resources is Pleased to Announce the Formation of its Advisory Board

GESPEG COPPER INC. (TSX VENTURE:GCR) (the "Company" or "GESPEG") is pleased to
announce the members of its newly formed advisory board: Mr. Robert (Bob) Wares
P.Geo. Founder, former President, and former Vice-President Exploration and
Resource Development of Osisko Mining; Mr. Marc Blais, COO of Sunset Cove
Mining; and Mr. Ronald Shorr, CFA, MBA, former Chief Executive Officer of
Maudore Minerals Ltd. The advisory board will operate in a fully advisory
capacity, and will act independently from the Board of Directors and management,
in order to provide valuable counsel on the development of the Company's
projects and business strategy. 


Mr. Robert P. Wares, P.Geo. identified the Canadian Malartic gold deposit as a
potential bulk tonnage mine in 2004.  His work resulted in the initial
acquisition of the project, and his leadership in exploration led to the
discovery of over 13 million ounces of gold in the Abitibi region. His
participation on the advisory board will be of great value in terms of
prospecting and property development,  since he has worked with several mining
and exploration companies in the Gaspe region, as well as having focused a
regional report on the geology of the Gaspe Peninsula for the Quebec Natural
resource ministry. 


Mr. Blais brings an abundance of knowledge and expertise as a professional
accountant (CPA, CGA), an experienced negotiator in the area of optioning new
mining projects, and his large perspective having worked in diverse mining
regions for 20 years. Mr. Blais has a proven record in exploration, property
evaluation, negotiation, and development, private and public financings and
investor relations. He is presently active as COO of Sunset Cove Mining and
Chairman of the Audit Comittee and Director of Wesdome. 


Mr. Ronald Shorr, CFA, MBA, was Chief Executive Officer and President of Maudore
Minerals Ltd. from August, 2004 to July 2012. Mr. Shorr has been serving as a
Mining Consultant based in New York since 1990. He has over 30 years of
experience in the precious and base metals industry, having developed an
extensive network of financial contacts in both the American and European
markets. Most of his career was spent as a mining analyst on Wall Street for
firms such as Dean Witter, Bear Stearns, and a division of the National
Westminster Bank. He has degrees from the University of Michigan and Harvard
Business School and attended the Columbia University School of Mines.
