Full Metal Zinc Appoints Mr. Al Paterson to Board of Directors and Grants Stock Options

   Full Metal Zinc Ltd. ("FZ") (TSX VENTURE: FZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Al Paterson to its board of directors.

Mr. Paterson is a founding partner of Ocean Partners, where, since 2004, the Ocean Partners' team has applied technical, commercial, financial, and political insight to deliver successful base metal concentrate trading services to miners, smelters, and refiners. After spending time in operations with Lafarge Corporation, Mr. Paterson joined the Noranda sales team in 1987 where he coordinated zinc and lead concentrate purchases and sales for the Noranda group. He left for Pechiney World Trade in 1993 as senior zinc/lead trader, a role he maintains at Ocean Partners. Mr. Paterson holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mining Engineering from Queen's University.

The Company expects to draw greatly upon the experience of Mr. Paterson as it expands its portfolio of zinc projects and continues to advance its flagship 40 Mile project in Alaska.

The Company also announces that is has granted an aggregate of 1,985,000 incentive stock options (the "Options") to officers, directors, consultants and employees of the Company, exercisable at $0.265 per share. The Options are exercisable for a period of ten years from the date of grant with a vesting period of one quarter vesting every three months over the period of one year. The Options are subject to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.

FZ is a generative junior exploration company focused on zinc discoveries in Alaska. To date, in excess of US$10 million has been spent at the 40 Mile (Zn-Pb-Cu-Ag) project involving geological mapping, soil geochemistry, geophysical surveys and diamond core drilling.
