ENTREC Appoints John Hudson as Vice President Safety, Training and Risk Management and Grants Employee Share Options

ENTREC Corporation (TSX VENTURE:ENT) ("ENTREC" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr. John Hudson as Vice President Safety, Training
and Risk Management, effective immediately.

ENTREC's President and COO. "John is an accomplished leader in his field and
brings to ENTREC over 30 years of experience in building strong safety oriented
cultures in large organizations." 


Mr. Hudson was most recently the CEO of DETAC Corporation, a consulting company
specializing in building operational and safety competency programs for
organizations. Prior to DETAC Corporation, Mr. Hudson was the Vice President of
HSE & Risk Management for Peak Energy Services from 2005 to 2011 after joining
that organization in 2000 as the Corporate HSE Manager. Mr. Hudson held a
variety of engineering, information systems, safety, and training roles with
TransAlta Utilities from 1980-2000. John received his Bachelor of Science in
Electrical Engineering in 1980 from the University of New Brunswick and has been
a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta since 1982. Mr. Hudson is the past
Chair of the Job Safety Skills Society, promoting safety education in Alberta's
high schools.


ENTREC Grants Share Options 

ENTREC also announces it has granted 1,100,000 share options to key employees,
including 500,000 to officers of the Company. The share options are exercisable
at a price of $1.53 per share and vest at a rate of 25% per year over four years
commencing January 1, 2014. The share options expire on January 1, 2018.
