Discovery Ventures Announces Clarification of News Article

Discovery Ventures Inc. ("Discovery" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:DVN)
announces that it wishes to clarify certain statements made in a news article
issued by the Financial Press on June 5 entitled "Project's Combined Advantages
Expected to Outshine Metals Market Volatility" (the "Article"). The Article
should not be relied upon because the Company believes it contains inaccurate
and misleading information regarding the Company's properties and it is not
compliant with National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral
Projects. The Company has requested that the Article be retracted but as
statements from the Article may continue to be found in the public domain, the
Company advises readers not to rely on any statements contained in the Article. 


The Article contains statements regarding the economics and potential viability
of the Company's WillaMax project. These statements are not supported by the
Preliminary Economic Assessment (the "PEA") dated May 26, 2014. Readers should
review the Company's news release dated May 28, 2014 for a summary of the
results of the PEA. The economic analysis contained in the PEA is considered
preliminary in nature. Mineral resources are not mineral reserves and have no
demonstrated economic viability and there is no certainty that economic
forecasts outlined in the PEA will be realized.


Technical contents of the WillaMAX disclosure in this news release have been
reviewed and approved by Wayne Ash, P.Eng., a qualified person as defined by
National Instrument 43-101.
