DiaMedica Issues Stock Option Grants

DiaMedica Therapeutics Inc. (the "

") (TSX-V:DMA) (OTCQB:DMCAF), today announced the issuance of 2,551,000 stock options to various officers and directors of the Company.  The options were issued at $0.56 per share and have a ten-year term.

The options were granted under the Company's Stock Option Plan and are part of the Company's long term incentive/retention plan for employees. The option issuance is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
