DEQ Systems Board of Directors Announces Exploration of Strategic Alternatives

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 19, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - DEQ Systems Corp. (TSXV: DEQ) ("DEQ" or the "Company") today announced that the Board of Directors has engaged Union Gaming Securities ("UGS") to explore a variety of strategic alternatives intended to maximize shareholder value. Such strategic alternatives may include, but are not limited to an acquisition, merger or other form of business combination, a recapitalization of the Company, or other similar transactions. Previously, UGS has advised the company on financial and strategic matters. 

"Our Board of Directors is focused on creating value for our shareholders and therefore we are conducting a review of strategic alternatives with UGS to ensure that we have global visibility to identify diverse and accretive gaming opportunities," stated David Ross, Chairman of the Board of DEQ.
