LONGUEUIL, QC, Dec. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Clemex Technologies, Inc. (the
 Company) or (Clemex), announces that is has concluded an agreement with
 Leica Microsystems, Inc. for the distribution of microscopes for
 industrial applications in Canada. 


The agreement, which grants Clemex the exclusive distribution of Leica
 Microsystems' microscopy products in specific market segments for most
 of Canada, will become effective early February 2011. About the
 agreement, Clemex President and CEO, Mr. Clément Forget says, "We are
 very pleased with this new agreement. We have been doing business with
 Leica Microsystems for almost 10 years as an OEM partner, but this
 partnership now takes us a step forward. In my opinion, Leica
 Microsystems, who invented microscopes 150 years ago, offers the best
 optical instruments on the market, and its line of automated
 microscopes fits perfectly with our automated solutions for image
 analysis." Forget continues, "This new activity segment for Clemex will
 require some investments in additional sales personnel and in inventory
 of Leica Microsystems instruments, but it will bring us substantially
 more business beginning as soon as the 4(th) quarter of this current fiscal year."
