MANASSAS, VA, Aug. 19 /CNW/ - Catch the Wind Ltd. (TSX-V: CTW), developer and manufacturer of the Vindicator(R) laser wind sensor (LWS) and other wind sensor products, announced today that it has signed a six-month evaluation agreement with AWS Convergence Technologies, owner and operator of the WeatherBug brand of professional and consumer weather products and services.
Through its WeatherBug(R) Professional division, AWS will install a Vindicator(R) LWS unit at a to be determined location to test its capabilities for wind speed measurement and wind profiling. WeatherBug Professional offers a comprehensive suite of business solutions powered by the WeatherBug Network, the largest global weather observing network with professional-grade surface and lightning detection stations (http://weather.weatherbug.com/weatherbug-professional/products/weather-station).
