VANCOUVER, July 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Carolina Capital Corp. (TSX Venture: CQC) is pleased to announce that it has completed the 2013 exploration program on the GP property, located near Lytton, British Columbia, further defining the previously known NW trending gold-in-soil and arsenic-in-soil anomaly. The 1,978 hectare GP property is a low sulphidation epithermal project lying within the Spences Bridge Gold Belt of south central British Columbia. Carolina is earning a 100% interest by making cash payments of $25,000, issuing 700,000 common shares of Carolina over the next two years and completing $100,000 in exploration expenditures.

The 2013 program consisted of in-fill soil geochemistry over the heart of the NW trending anomaly striking through the middle of the property. This was accomplished by tightening the sample spacing to 50 metres by 25 metres resulting in the collection of 1,748 samples.

The 2013 program continued on the success of 2011, further delineating and defining the 2.7 kilometre, NW trending Au-in-soil and As-in-soil anomaly. The width ranges from one station, about 25 metres, to four stations, about 100 metres and continues to both ends of the grid. It is stronger over the northern part of the grid, corresponding to the Pimainus volcaniclastics and weaker in the overlying Spius andesites to the south.

A program of deep Induced Polarization surveying has been recommended to test the full strike extent of the anomaly for zones of quartz veining and accompanying precious metal mineralization in advance of diamond drilling.
