Rooster Energy Ltd. Announces Stock Option Grant

Rooster Energy Ltd. ("Rooster") (TSX VENTURE:COQ) is pleased to announce that it
has granted 4,850,645 stock options to directors, officers and employees of
Rooster at an exercise price of $0.50.


The stock options will expire 10 years from the date of grant. One third of the
options granted will vest on each of the first, second and third anniversaries
of the date of grant. Rooster maintains a 20% fixed stock option plan reserving
for issuance up to 8,078,964 common shares of Rooster. Subsequent to this stock
option grant, Rooster will have a total of 4,850,645 stock options outstanding.
