BOWMORE Enters Option Agreement to Acquire 100% of the La Scie Gold Property in Newfoundland

Bowmore Explorations Ltd. (the "Company" or "Bowmore") (TSX
VENTURE:BOW)(FRANKFURT:0B5) is pleased to announce that following the signing
thereof, the Company has entered into a formal Option Agreement whereby it can
acquire 100% of the La Scie Gold Property (the "Property"), located in
Newfoundland, Canada from owner Mr. Jason Burton (see press release dated
February 13, 2013).


Mr. Paul Dumas, President of Bowmore, stated "We are very pleased to have
finalized this agreement, as it allows us access to the Baie Verte Peninsula, a
highly prospective area that has been known for exploration and mining of gold,
copper and other commodities, dating as far back as the 1850's. We are fortunate
to have come across a land package of significant size that has been virtually
unexplored, providing us with an additional opportunity for gold discovery
within a mining-friendly province."


The Property is composed of 60 claims covering more than 1,500 hectares and is
located along the eastern-most extent of the Baie Verte Peninsula, roughly 45 km
east of the town of Baie Verte in the White Bay South District. In addition,
Bowmore has claimed an additional 395 claims covering 9,875 hectares surrounding
the La Scie Gold Property and covering the eastern extremity of the Baie Verte
peninsula, for a total land package of 11,375 hectares or 113.75 km2.


To date Bowmore has collected 43 rock samples from the Western and the Central
blocks of the Property through due diligence chip sampling, done on the recently
discovered gold showings by Mr. Burton. Gold values of up to 56.5 g/t Au over 2
metres were obtained from a pyritic quartz stockwork hosted within felsic
volcanic flows. A new zone was discovered that returned 0.91g/t Au over 6 metres
within a northeast-trending shear zone 6 to 8 m. wide and at least 15 to 20 m.
long, hosted by a felsic volcanic unit (see press release dated February 13,
2013). 


The Company is currently planning a 2013 work program for the property which
will include mapping, sampling, and geophysical groundwork.
