Global Hunter Corp. (TSX VENTURE:BOB) ("Global Hunter" or the "Company") is pleased to announce results on another twelve drill holes from its recent 31-hole, nearly 9,600 metre, drill program on Las Posadas shear zone at La Corona de Cobre project, Chile. Highlights of the assay results include the following (complete total and soluble copper intervals can be found in Appendix A attached hereto): - LP - 64 - 14 metres of 1.17% Cu with 0.78% SolCu - LP - 65 - 16 metres of 1.30% Cu with 1.02% SolCu - LP - 66 - 8 metres of 1.21% Cu with 0.91% SolCu - LP - 68 - 16 metres of 0.80% Cu with 0.64% SolCu - LP - 71 - 134 metres of 0.55% Cu with 0.28% SolCu - LP - 72 - 20 metres of 0.85% Cu with 0.71% SolCu - LP - 73 - 12 metres of 0.98% Cu with 0.76% SolCu The program was designed to: - In-fill drill certain areas of the known copper oxide deposit to 50 metre centres; - Provide a more detailed three dimension definition of the boundaries of the oxide deposit; - Explore for possible extensions; - Provide sufficient drill core material for metallurgical testing; - Assess the copper sulfide potential below the current copper oxide resource. "The latest results confirm widths and grades from previous drilling and will add confidence from having the entire resource drilled on a 50 metre grid," said Rod Husband, President of Global Hunter. "We are also very encouraged that the results confirm good copper grades in the sulphide zone at depth and excited by the potential they offer." In addition two holes (MP-1,2) were drilled 1,500 metres southeast of the existing resource area to determine the extent of copper oxide mineralization identified on surface. Holes MP-1 and MP-2 did not intersect any significant copper values. The Company's technical team is currently compiling new maps and cross-sections of Las Posadas deposit and these will be posted on the Global Hunter website, www.globalhunter.ca, as they become available. The Company also expects additional assay results to become available shortly and release the data upon receiving it. A summary of the sampling handling, QA/QC program, sample preparation and analytical methods are described in detail in the Company's November 13, 2007 news release. ABOUT GLOBAL HUNTER CORP. Global Hunter is currently exploring and advancing development of the La Corona de Cobre project located 70 kilometres north of La Serena, Chile along the Pan American Highway within the coastal belt of the Andean Cordillera. The 2007/08 program was designed to further define the resource and economics of the Las Posadas deposit and will continue. In addition to La Corona de Cobre, the Company is also working to complete further delineation drilling and an initial resource estimate at its Rabbit South Property molybdenum project in south-central British Columbia, Canada. Michael S. Fulp, C.P.G., Chief Geologist for Global Hunter, is the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 who supervised the exploration program and has prepared, reviewed and approved the technical information in this news release.
