Brionor Resources Inc. ("BRIONOR" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BNR) is pleased to announce that it has completed a 2,655 metre drilling program (7 holes) on its 100% owned Pitt Gold property located in the Duparquet Gold district, 35 km north of the town of Rouyn Noranda. Drilling has confirmed the up dip projection of Gold Zones 1 and 2, thus opening up the near surface environment for additional target opportunities. Brionor's property is located along the Porcupine-Destor Break (PDB), in the center of the Beattie-Donchester-Central Duparquet-Duquesne mining camp. The district is currently being actively explored by Osisko Mining, Globex Mining, and Brionor, with in excess of $16M to be spent on exploration along 14 km of strike length of the PDB in 2010. More than 3,000,000 ounces of gold (all categories, measured, indicated and mostly inferred) have already been outlined 5 km west of Pitt Gold around the Beattie Mine and the Donchester Deposit at grades varying from 2.79 g/t Au to 5.08 g/t Au (Clifton Star, Nov. 2009). The Duparquet gold district consists of two main mineralized domains located on either side (to the northwest and to the southeast) of the Duparquet sedimentary basin (Timiskaming type). The northern domain comprises the Beattie, Donchester and Central Duparquet mines, while the southern domain hosts the Duquesne mine and the Duquesne West and Pitt Gold occurrences. Mineralization in the district is closely related to subsidiary structures to the PDB as well as to porphyry intrusions (Syenites and Quartz-Feldspar Porphyries) where gold is intimately related to sulphides (pyrite and locally arsenopyrite), shearing and alteration halos (silicification, sericitization, carbonatization). All rock types (except the Timiskaming Sediments) can host gold mineralization, but geological contacts and porphyry intrusions are favoured. Two main types of gold occurrences are observed on the Pitt Gold property, as well as in the district at large: tension and sheared quartz veins within alteration halos; and gold related to fine disseminated sulphides, mostly but not exclusively, within intrusions. At Pitt Gold, given the depth to which exploration has been carried out to date (on average 400 metres vertically), only vein type mineralization has been assessed, however disseminated pyrite is pervasive over large portions of the stratigraphy north of the PDB. Although these areas were never systematically sampled, limited sampling indicates that gold is very anomalous. The company is initiating a compilation program to outline areas favourable for near surface disseminated gold mineralization. The winter drill program targeted the up dip projection of zones 1 and 2 above 300 metres vertically, and successfully intersected the gold zones as shown in the following table. Drilling to date has also confirmed the presence of extensive low grade mineralization on the property. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Core Hole # From To length(i) Au ppb Au g/t Zone ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- No value above 1 PG10-01 g/t Au ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PG10-02 278,90 279,50 0,60 1094 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 279,50 280,27 0,77 1098 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 278,90 280,27 1,37 1096 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PG10-03 40,20 41,20 1,00 1130 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 71,22 72,22 1,00 4302 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 79,70 80,00 0,30 1710 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 171,00 172,00 1,00 2304 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 181,00 182,00 1,00 1192 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 259,00 259,60 0,60 1961 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 307,00 308,00 1,00 1121 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 400,00 400,80 0,80 5425 6,2 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 410,50 411,80 1,30 3,55 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 410,50 410,80 0,30 12170 12,43 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 411,50 411,80 0,30 2972 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 478,00 478,70 0,70 1061 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PG10-04 138,50 139,20 0,70 2966 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 184,84 185,54 0,70 2338 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 205,00 205,90 0,90 1063 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 209,50 210,50 1,00 2185 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 209,50 209,80 0,30 2131 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 209,80 210,50 0,70 2208 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PG10-05 296,00 297,00 1,00 1855 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PG10-06 165,60 168,70 3,00 1637 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 165,60 166,70 1,10 3732 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 166,70 167,70 1,00 45 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- including 167,70 168,70 1,00 1134 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 214,00 215,00 1,00 1137 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 264,00 265,00 1,00 1105 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 278,00 278,40 0,40 11,1 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PG10-07 74,79 75,18 0,39 1081 PD fault ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 179,75 180,75 1,00 1396 Main ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 266,00 266,90 0,90 4871 4,66 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 334,00 334,60 0,60 1546 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 339,10 339,85 0,75 3849 4,30 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 345,00 346,00 1,00 1401 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (i) True widths are estimated at 70-80% of core lengths The 2010 drilling program was carried out under the supervision of Mr. Pierre O'Dowd, geologist and Qualified Person as per National Instrument 43-101. Samples were prepared and assayed at Technilab of Sainte Germaine de Boule (now Actlab) and were subjected to fire assay with AA finish. Normabec has implemented a QAQC program which includes systematic use of standards, blanks and duplicates. Values above 3 g/t Au are systematically re-assayed with gravity finish. Brionor is a junior mining exploration company with a portfolio of exploration projects including the 100% owned Pitt Gold Project in Quebec.
