Resignation of a Non-Executive Director
The Berkeley Group plc (`Berkeley') announces the resignation of Fred Wellings
from the Board of Berkeley with effect from 5 December 2003. Fred Wellings has
served on the Board for over nine years since the 11th March 1994.
Berkeley is most grateful for the valuable contribution made by Fred Wellings
during his period as a Non-Executive Director.
As a result of Fred Wellings resignation, Tony Palmer has been appointed Senior
Independent Director and the Chairman, Roger Lewis, FCA, will chair the Audit
Committee pending the appointment of a Non-Executive Director with the
appropriate skills to undertake this role.
