ALTICE IN EXPLORATORY DISCUSSIONS WITH PRISA CONCERNING A POSSIBLE FORMAL OFFER FOR MEDIA CAPITAL
In response to a request by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários,
Altice NV ("Altice") confirms that it has entered into exploratory
discussions with Promotora de Informaciones,
S.A ("Prisa") regarding a potential acquisition of Prisa's stake in Media Capital SGPS, SA ("Media Capital"), a Portuguese media group with leadership positions in TV broadcasting, audiovisual production, radio, digital, music and entertainment.
