Aptilon Announces Update on Delay in Filing Year-End Financial Statements

    




 MONTREAL, May 18, 2012 /CNW/ - Aptilon Corporation ("Aptilon or the  "Company") , a leader in online access, engagement and  interaction with physicians and healthcare professionals on behalf of  pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, today announced that it  continues to work towards finalizing the Company's audited annual  financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2011, including  the related management discussion and analysis, and CEO and CFO  certifications (collectively, the "Annual Financial Filings".) As  previously announced on April 27, 2012, the Company has applied for a  management cease-trade order which has been approved by the Autorité  des marchés financiers on May 4, 2012.  New auditors have been  appointed and they have initiated the transition from the former  auditors. The official notice of change of auditor will be filed  shortly. At this point, Aptilon still expects to file its Annual  Financial Filings on or before June 15, 2012, as previously announced.
