Antares Announces Grant of Stock Options

Antares Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ANM) announced that on April 2, 2009 a total
of 1,025,000 options were granted to officers, directors, employees and
consultants pursuant to the Company's stock option plan. Each option entitles
the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at $2.49 for a period of
five years, subject to vesting provisions.
