Anfield Nickel Corp. (TSX VENTURE: ANF) ("Anfield") is pleased to announce that it has appointed John Youle as Vice President, Corporate Affairs effective August 17, 2011.

In addition, Anfield announces that, pursuant to its Stock Option Plan, it has granted incentive stock options to certain directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company to purchase up to an aggregate of 615,000 common shares in the capital stock of the Company. The options are exercisable at a price of $4.04 per share, will expire on August 17, 2016, and will vest in equal parts over the first three years after grant.
