West Virginia Wells Drilling and Being Completed and Alder Increases Participation by Three Wells

Alder Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ALR) announced, in its News
Release dated January 14, 2008, its 15% working interest participation in a 7
well natural gas drilling program in West Virginia, U.S.A. The Operator has
reported to the Company on the status of the drilling program - as follows:

Epsilon Energy U.S.A. Inc. - from which the Company took the farmout of the
interests - has advised the Company that the wells waiting on pipeline
connections have been determined to be productive. However, until the wells are
connected and producing into the pipeline, the volume of production will not be
known. As the wells are located in a producing natural gas field the pipeline
connections are relatively short and available.
