Alder Resources Ltd.: West Virginia Wells Have Commenced Production

Alder Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ALR) reported, in its Release
dated April 17, 2008, on the status of the seven West Virginia natural gas wells
in which the Company has earned interests. The Operator has now advised that all
of the wells have been successfully drilled and completed and are waiting on
pipeline connections. Two of the wells have commenced production as follows:

257                Current volume approximately 100,000 cubic feet per day.

Amber Bank:        Commenced producing into pipeline May 26, 2008.
267                Current volume approximately 110,000 cubic feet per day.
