Alder Increases Private Placement Financing to $750,000

Alder Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ALR) is increasing the private
placement financing announced in its News Release dated January 14, 2008 to
3,000,000 shares. The shares are being sold at $0.25 per share so that the
increased financing will provide the Company with proceeds of $750,000.


The private placements are subject to the completion of final documentation and
acceptance for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange.
