CALGARY, Dec. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Alston Energy Inc. (TSX-V: ALO) ("Alston" or the "Company") announces the appointment of Neil Burrows as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Burrows is a CMA with over 27 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. He has held various accounting and finance positions including, VP Finance & CFO of Standard Exploration Ltd., Renegade Oil and Gas Ltd. and Expedition Energy Inc. and prior to that was the divisional controller for Addison Energy Inc.
Ms. Pat Taguchi has resigned from Alston and will be pursuing other career opportunities. We thank Pat for her contributions to the Company and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
