TORONTO, April 12, 2016 /CNW/ - Warren Collier, Managing Director, Head of the Canadian iShares Business, BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited, will join Ungad Chadda, Senior Vice President, Toronto Stock Exchange on Tuesday April 12, 2016, to open the market to launch three new Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol USA Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XMS); iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol EAFE Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XML); and iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol Global Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XMY). iShares Funds are managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. BlackRock provides investment management, risk management and advisory services for institutional and retail clients worldwide. As of March 31, 2016, there were 395 ETFs listed on Toronto Stock Exchange, with a total market capitalization of approximately $97 billion. With these listings, iShares currently has 108 ETFs on TSX. XMS; XML; and XMY commenced trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on April 11, 2016.
