S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Deletion from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index

TORONTO, Oct 4, 2017 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Indices Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:  

Under a court-approved Plan of Arrangement, OneREIT (TSX:ONR.UN) will be acquired by Strathallen Acquisitions Inc. and Smart REIT (TSX:SRU.UN). Terms are $CDN4.275 cash per ONR.UN or approximately 0.1376 units of SRU.UN. OneREIT will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index prior to the open of trading on Friday, October 6, 2017.
