S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Preferred Share Index

TORONTO, June 23, 2017 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Indices Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:  

RioCan REIT (TSX:REI.UN) has announced that it will redeem for $CDN25.00 cash per unit all of its outstanding Cumulative Series C Preferred Units (TSX:REI.PR.C) on Friday, June 30, 2017. The preferred units will be removed from the S&P/TSX Preferred Share Index and the S&P/TSX North American Preferred Stock Index prior to the open of trading on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
