ProSep Inc. (TSX:PRP) ("ProSep" or the "Company"), dedicated to providing process solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced it was awarded various orders for a total value of $1.2 million. Included in these awards is a purchase order for the supply of a proprietary ProScav(TM) H2S scavenging unit. This system is designed to efficiently and cost-effectively remove small amounts of hydrogen sulfide from natural gas or liquids. Deliveries are expected to occur before the end of the first quarter of 2014.
"When used in H2S removal, ProSep's novel injection and mixing technology allows operators to reduce their chemical consumption by 30-40%, providing significant savings and performance," said Jacques L. Drouin, President & CEO.
ProScav(TM) is a system for injecting and mixing H2S scavenger chemical directly in the pipeline to remove moderate amounts of H2S from gas or liquids. ProScav(TM) utilizes the scavenger chemical more efficiently than do conventional injection and mixing methods such as atomizing nozzles, quills and static mixers.
