Canlan Ice Sports hires new General Manager for Les Quatre Glaces - continues to pursue development opportunities in Quebec mar

    




 - Hires Jean-Christophe Gandubert to lead Brossard operation and support business growth. 

 BURNABY, BC, March 28, 2012 /CNW/ - Canlan Ice Sports Corp. ,  industry-leading providers of recreational sports and entertainment  facilities across North America, today announced the hiring of  Jean-Christophe Gandubert as General Manager of its facility in  Brossard, Quebec known as Les Quatre Glaces. 

 Jean Gandubert brings over 25 years of sports management experience both  in Ontario and Quebec.  He has an extensive career in the soccer  industry, where he has served as President of the Quebec Soccer  Federation as well as Chief Administrative Office for the Oakville  Soccer Club, the largest soccer organization in North America.  Mr.  Gandubert has also worked for Sport Canada as a Senior Policy Advisor  to the Federal Sports Minister. 

 Most recently, Mr. Gandubert has worked as a consultant on various sport  facilities in the Greater Toronto area, providing strategic planning,  studies and plans for both private and public organizations.  He joins  the Canlan Ice Sports team to manage the highly successful Les Quatre  Glaces facility, a four-pad ice rink with full service restaurant and  sports store, boasting the biggest adult recreational hockey league in  the Montreal area and host to the largest adult and youth hockey  tournaments. 

 Canlan Ice Sports continues to work on opportunities to develop  recreational facilities in the Montreal market, through private-public  partnerships and involving ice, soccer, ball hockey and other indoor  sports.  Mr. Gandubert will assist the Canlan Ice Sports Partnership  Solutions team in these efforts in the Quebec market and beyond.
