S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Change in the S&P/TSX Venture Indices

TORONTO, March 16, 2015 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

The shareholders of Probe Mines Limited (TSXVN:PRB) have approved the terms of a Plan of Arrangement with Goldcorp Inc. (TSX:G) under which Goldcorp will acquire Probe Mines. The terms of the transaction are 0.1755 shares of Goldcorp, $CDN0.001 cash and 0.3333 shares of Probe Metals Inc. (TSXVN:PRB) per share of Probe Mines.

Following a 1-for-3 consolidation, the shares of Probe Metals will replace Probe Mines in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite and Venture Select Indices effective at the open on March 17, 2015. The close price of Probe Mines on Monday, March 16, 2015, will be reduced by 0.1755 times the close price of Goldcorp on TSX.
