TORONTO, June 2, 2016 /CNW/ - Barry Gordon, President and Chief Executive Officer, First Asset, a CI Financial Company, joined Dani Lipkin, Head, Business Development, Exchange Traded Funds, Closed-End Funds, and Structured Notes, TMX Group to open the market to celebrate the launch of three new actively managed Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): First Asset Global Financial Sector ETF (FSF); First Asset Preferred Share ETF (FPR); and First Asset Long Duration Fixed Income ETF (FLB). Signature Global Asset Management, an affiliate of First Asset and a division of CI Investments Inc., is the Portfolio Manager for these funds. Signature is an in-house portfolio management group that manages over $50 billion in core equity, balanced and income oriented funds. First Asset is an established ETF provider in Canada offering a suite of over 39 ETFs covering all major developed markets and most asset classes. FSF commenced trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on April 25, 2016; FPR, and FLB on May 17, 2016.
