                               Disclosure of interests

The Company has been informed, subsequent to the recent acquisitions of Gooch
Webster Group Limited and Fisher Wilson (Scotland) Limited, of the following
changes in the interests in the share capital of the Company:

*   the existing holding of Delancey Estates Limited of 11,266,667 ordinary
    shares now represents 37.00% of the issued share capital; and

*   the existing holding of the ESOP Trustee (being Barclays Private Bank &
    Trust (Isle of Man) Limited as trustee of the employee share ownership plan) 
    of 4,801,760 ordinary shares now represents 15.77% of the issued share 
    capital.
