S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Deletion and Replacement in the S&P/TSX 60 Index

TORONTO, July 21, 2015 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

Catamaran Corporation (TSX:CCT) has announced the receipt of all regulatory, shareholder, exchange and court approvals for its transaction with UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:UNH). The shares of Catamaran will be acquired by UnitedHealth in exchange for $US61.50 cash for each share. The shares of Catamaran will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite, Capped Composite and Composite Equal Weight, the S&P/TSX 60, 60 Capped, 60 ESG and 60 Equal Weight and the S&P/TSX Capped Health Care Indices after the close of trading on Friday, July 24, 2015. Constellation Software Inc. (TSX:CSU) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Completion Index and added to the S&P/TSX 60, 60 Capped and the 60 Equal Weight Indices. Constellation Software will not be added to the S&P/TSX 60 ESG Index at this time. Also, Constellation Software will be added to the S&P/TSX 60 Equal Weight Index at a relative weight equal to the relative weight of Catamaran at the close on July 24, 2015.
