--Cigarette maker Altris Group Inc. (MO) is in early discussion to purchase Canadian cannabis company Cronos Group Inc. (CRON), Reuters reports Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
--One of the sources said the talks are expected to last several weeks, the report said.
--Altria didn't immediately respond when asked to comment, and Cronos declined to comment, the report said.
