TORONTO, March 19, 2015 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) today announced it has filed with securities regulators and is mailing to common shareholders its 2015 Notice of Annual Meeting of Shareholders and Management Proxy Circular. The document will be available today online at www.cibc.com/ca/investor-relations/annual-reports.

The Management Proxy Circular contains information for shareholders about CIBC's annual meeting which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Calgary, Alberta, at 9:30 a.m. MST, including information relating to the election of CIBC's directors, appointment of auditors and shareholder proposals. The Circular also includes information regarding a non-binding advisory vote by shareholders on CIBC's approach to executive compensation.
