CI Financial reports assets under management

TORONTO, Nov. 1, 2016 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported assets under management at October 31, 2016 of $112.2 billion and total assets of $149.4 billion.

Assets under management increased by $4.2 billion or 3.9% year over year and were down 0.3% in the month of October. Total assets gained $7.1 billion or 5.0% for the 12-month period and declined 0.2% in October.

Average assets under management for the quarter-to-date were $112.2 billion, versus $112.3 billion for the third quarter of 2016. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $109.8 billion, a gain of $1.4 billion or 1.3% from the average for fiscal year 2015.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $37.2 billion at October 31, 2016, an increase of $2.9 billion or 8.5% year over year.

CI is scheduled to release its financial results for the third quarter of 2016 on November 3, 2016, on CNW Group and cifinancial.com.
