CanBanc Income Corp. Announces Exercise of Over-Allotment Option

CanBanc Income Corp. (the "Company") (TSX:CIC) announces that the Company's
syndicate of agents for its initial public offering has exercised its
over-allotment option and acquired an additional 1,027,000 shares of the
Company. In total, the Company issued 24,027,000 shares pursuant to its initial
public offering, yielding gross proceeds of $240,270,000. The shares are listed
on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol CIC.


The syndicate of agents for this offering was led by CIBC World Markets Inc.,
National Bank Financial Inc. and RBC Capital Markets, and included BMO Capital
