                        Purchase of Shares by a director



On 16 April, Compel Group PLC ("Compel" or the "Company") was informed that
Karen Slatford, non-executive director of Compel, had on 15 April, purchased
10,000 ordinary 5p shares in the Company into an ISA at a price of 58p each.



Following this announcement, Karen Slatford has an interest in 12,000 shares in
the Company, representing approximately 0.04% per cent of the issued share
capital of the Company.
